Scotland’s Library and Information Professional of the Year Award – shortlist announced

We are delighted to announce that we have shortlisted 4 CILIPS members for this year’s award for Library and Information Professional of the Year, sponsored by Bolinda Digital.

Judging will be based on a full nomination statement provided to CILIPS and the winner will be announced in October.

We will be adding more information about our fantastic nominees to our website in the lead up to the award ceremony. In the meantime we would like to offer congratulations to our nominees, who are as follows:

• Jacqueline Geekie, Information Literacy & Learning Librarian, Live Life Aberdeenshire
• Gillian Gillespie, Learning Community Librarian, Greenwood Academy, North Ayrshire Council
• Clare Hemsworth, School Libraries Support Coordinator / School Librarian, Renfrewshire Libraries
• Catherine Jeromson, Support Services Librarian, Shetland Library

All of the above have been nominated by a fellow CILIPS member for their contributions to the profession.
