The congress wasn’t just an event; it was a deep dive into my professional world. It gave me a chance to reflect on my own practices, assess my progress, and set new goals for my career. Surrounded by the vibrant energy of the global library community, I felt inspired by the dedication and enthusiasm of professionals from around the world.
Supported by the CILIPS Professional Development Fund, school librarian and CILIPS member Anaïs Cayzac attended the 88th IFLA General Conference and Assembly in Rotterdam. From library-led climate action to AI, ‘braindates’, library flashmobs, a silent disco and so much more, read Anaïs’s reflections in full.
The current call for applications to our Professional Development Fund is for events taking place between 1st July and 30th September 2024, and the deadline for applications is 12pm on 7th June 2024.
