#Library5 2020
#Library5 is our annual social media campaign for Libraries Week, designed to showcase the wide variety of brilliant services that libraries have on offer.
This year, we set a daily theme from Monday-Friday during Libraries Week which ran from 5th-10th October. We asked libraries and library staff to get involved by sharing news and/or pictures relevant to each theme. Most of the themes tied into the overall focus of Libraries Week which was ‘Your Passport to Reading’.
This was the second time we ran the #Library5 campaign and it was a huge success again this year, with so many positive stories and information being shared, evidencing the importance of libraries and the work they do for their communities. Use the pages below to see some of our favourites Tweets from each day. You can also use the daily hashtags and #Library5 on Twitter to catch up with all of the great content that was shared.
This year’s themes were:
- Day one: Reading #Reading
- Day two: Services for young people #YoungPeople
- Day three: The library online #DigitalLibrary
- Day four: Reading Champions #ReadingChampions
- Daye five: All things ‘library’ #YourLibrary
