Local Studies Librarian awarded MBE

CILIPS were delighted to hear that Bibliographic and Local Studies Librarian Eleanor McKay has been awarded an MBE for services to Local Studies in The Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2021.

A long-time member of CILIPS, Eleanor has worked with dedication, determination and drive throughout her career, supporting communities across Argyll and Bute and making an exceptional contribution to a wide range of projects including local First World War commemorations.
