What is Canva?
Canva is a graphic design platform used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content.
How is it useful?
Canva will help you create professional looking marketing and educational materials, quickly and easily. Canva includes many templates for bookmarks, fliers, worksheets, social media posts, newsletters…the options are endless! You can also create your own designs from scratch.
Using Canva Education, you can create a brand kit to unify your materials with school colours and logos.
Work is automatically saved into a web-based portfolio, making it easy to find previous documents, and update any work from any device.
The web-based version provides the most usability, but Canva is also available as an app.

Good to Know
Although Canva does have an option to order printed materials from the website any designs can be downloaded as various file types.
Canva education is free and allows access to all Canva pro tools and elements. You’ll need to prove that you work in a school (provide a scan of your school ID), and that your Canva account will primarily be to support your role.
