Case Studies – Scottish Book Trust

The Scottish Book Trust has a range of case studies and examples of the wonderful work that school libraries and librarians do. They include:

• Alan Clark at Kincorth Academy who took part in Shared Reading last year
• Jennifer Horan who is librarian at Kemnay Academy about running a young writers group
• Shona Page (Forfar Academy), Shelagh Toonen (Elgin Academy) and Helen Philip (Millburn and Charleston Academies) celebrating voting in the Scottish Teen Book Prize
• Chris Kelso, Assistant Librarian at Doon Academy, on starting a school creative writing magazine
• A blog on Authors Live with Marcus Sedgwick from two pupils from a book club in St. Aidan’s High School, supported by School Librarian ‘Miss McGough’
